Service Provision
ABA services are tailored and individualized for each learner, based on their specific needs and goals. Services typically take place in-home, at school for non-academic support, or in the community. With global developments related to Covid-19, services are currently delivered via telehealth in most cases.
Program development is based on clinical recommendations, family goals and priorities, and contextual need. Parents, caregivers, and the individual learner are encouraged to contribute to the development of treatment goals as well as ongoing treatment planning and decision making. Parents, siblings, and caregivers may be asked to participate in Family coaching as well, depending on the goals, values, and clinical recommendations identified by the team.
